We’re restructuring the customer buy flow with fewer steps to encourage customers to go further down the funnel. Time consuming tasks will be optional. A more streamlined and simplified checkout flow will reduce friction, resulting in increased customer engagement and higher completion rates.
We’re also moving F&I to the front and center of the order process, so when a customer starts an order they see an overlay that asks them if they would like to add a service and protection plan, if they haven’t already. This will ensure greater visibility and higher attachment rates, so you will have more opportunities than ever to boost your backend profit.
My Purchase Page
We know every customer, purchase and dealership process is different. That’s why we’ve built a flexible, robust portal just for your customers. Here, they can complete tasks for their purchase in whatever order makes sense for them, or simply reserve the car and finish later.
After a customer has placed their order, the My Purchase Page will be their hub to upload all of the required documents, see tasks pushed to them by the dealership and complete as much or as little of the transaction that makes the most sense to them (online or in-person). This flexibility will allow customers to tailor their purchase process to their needs.
We are also updating our Customers Tab in Dealer Admin to provide agents with an even better, guided user experience. For the first time, sales agents will be able to “push” tasks to customers in an order that makes the most sense for them (including start an order, complete a credit app or trade-in, request a deposit, ask for additional documentation, etc.).
Customer information will be more accessible, more digestible and more actionable for your agents, enabling them to work smarter, not harder. Sales Agents’ visibility into the deal will give them control and will encourage them to convert deals into orders for customers to transact.
Note: As part of this upcoming release, Orders will be folded into the Customers Tab and the current Orders Tab will be going away.
